gEt YoUr SeRvE oN!
Jesus was a servant.
He said the first would be last and the last first.
He washed the feet of his disciples.
He healed people, fed people.
His is a gospel of love.
It's our call as Christians to carry out that call--
to love, through serving.
Here are a few opportunities...

Compassion International
Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, physical, economic and social poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Founded in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean war orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training. Today, Compassion helps more than 800,000 children in 24 countries. You may, as your project for the year, choose to sponsor a child. When you choose to do so, you are linked with one particular child who will know your name, write to you, and treasure the thought that you care. You will be responsible for praying for and writing to your child as their spiritual big brother or sister. Your contribution of $32 a month will connect your child with a loving, church-based child sponsorship program that provides health care, educational, recreational and spiritual opportunities.
